At least that is what the anathema should have been called. Not happy with stealing from it'due south fans in 1999 with Plough it On Again the hits Genesis in the spirit of the Plough information technology on Once more tour puts this slice of excrement called originally plenty Turn It On Over again The Hits- THE Bout EDITION(insert rolling eyes emoticon here). So what makes this one different? Well there are 2 disks at present and added material from both the Gabriel years and one, Congo, from Calling All stations. Are you thrilled yet? They put the songs through some kind of remaster I gauge to make them audio better if that is possible.

So no demand to dwell on the Collins era hit singles if y'all similar them y'all probably already own them then why buy this? Don't. I volition mention what they did with Gabriel era songs. If you are a slight bit curious every bit to how the remastering might sound then there are a couple of songs like Counting Out Fourth dimension and I Know What I Like really practise sound amend and what could have been a real precious stone The Knife sounds great until they cutting it off half way through the vocal! Unfreaking believable! Other things added like Play tricks of the Tail and Your Own Special Way again give over to the popular side of the band. How about a remastered peek at how Watcher of the Skies might sound instead? Nope they put Happy the Homo! Are you lot kidding me?

Fortunately I didn't pay for this information technology was given to me as well pregnant gift but wow perhaps a better title is Run across Me on Ebay for $2.99 Presently. 1 star

*Note*I would propose to anyone who wants to hear the remastered version of some the Gabriel songs (there are only 4) download simply those songs and save a bundle. Oh and Carpet Crawlers is that stupid 1999 version ignore it

2 stars 2007 was not a peachy year for Genesis and record companies screamed for another anthology so this is it folks. Another compilation to coincide with the tour at the time. I believe it was sold at concerts but its a shame information technology has nil new to offer apart from a remastered rendition of old singles and cuts every Genesis fan should already own. Information technology includes the watered down Carpet Crawlers 1999 version likewise. Most of these songs take plagued compilations but with 2 CDs this time there's more to offer.

The best...

It includes some great tracks such every bit Duchess, my favourite, Turn It On Again, No Son Of Mine, Jesus He Knows Me, Follow Yous Follow Me, A Trick Of The Tail, Counting Out Time, I Know What I Like (In Your Wardrobe) and Happy The Man. That'south about the simply tracks worth returning to.

The worst...

The Knife (iii:17) is butchered down by half information technology's length and is a tragedy as a upshot. Congo, come on that's Genesis worse album and naught from its whatsoever adept, and and so theres the ones that fifty-fifty my wife likes to sing such every bit I Can't Dance, Invisible Touch, and Illegal Alien.

So overall some assorted skilful stuff and a whole swag iof dross to wade through. Again it's a collectors piece showcasing just how far removed from greatness Genesis had become.
